TABLE LOCKING - FORMAT

When I create a Table, and select locking, content and format, I can still pick the grips and re-size the table. Is there something I am overlooking? Is there another way to lock the formatting, so the cell sizes will not change? My assumption is that I should not be able t change the size or shape of the table.

Thanks.

Resizing has nothing to do with CONTENT (what is inside the dell) or FORMAT (what the text inside the cell looks like).
Same in Excel, you can resize all day long with the same settings.

Thanks Dean,

I did'nt think about it in that scenario.

Could this be a valid wish list item? Or has it been adressed in AutoCAD 2013, 2014?

O.K. I'm thinking I need to unlock all the cells to get the table unlocked?

But still having issues, I can only "update sheet list table" (1) time then this option disapears from the drop-down menu?

I'm thinking it's a BUG.

I am having the same issue. The locking symbol will not go away even when I select the whole table to unlock everything. I need to ad extra rows for sheets that are coming from another firm. Why is the table format staying locked? Is there a setting that needs to be changed? I'm working in Civil 3D 2018.

You need to pick on (1) cell and unlock it first, then you can pick all the cells & unlock them.

I hope this helps,

Mark G
