Table Identification

I'm trying to edit field values across drawings. When I copy tables from one drawing to the next the fields break because the reference cells from the previous drawing link to table identifiers such as table(%<\_ObjId xxxxxxxxxx>%). These table names seem to random generate when the table is created. Is there a way to custom name a table so no matter what drawing I place a table in the formulas within the cells will see the same value location?

Hi,

fields are working with internal object-id's, so I guess (without development) you can't use virtual names as replacement and so copy them between different drawings.

Sorry, - alfred -

Have we had any advancement on this? I'm having the same issue where I want to change the name of a table so it is easier to locate and reference.
