table command in 2020

I have an excel spreadsheet that is 137 kb.  it is divided into 4 sheets.  I am trying to insert the sheets using the table command.  When I click on 'ok', nothing happens, I have waited 10 minutes to see if it inserts, nothing happens.  Is it possible that the spreadsheet is too large? I have experimented with the various options in the lower right of the dialog box, nothing.

One Sheet at a time is you only want to use the AutoCAD core functions.
There are 3rd party tools you can purchase if you want to do it the easy way, here is one of many (I am not affiliated with them at all) https://www.dotsoft.com/xl2cad.htm

In the dialog box, if I understand what you mean, it loads. Autocad knows that there are 4 sheets in the excel spreadsheet, but when I pick on the ok button, nothing happens. I was just able, minutes ago, to get the first sheet in. When I duplicate my picks, except for sheet 2, I get no results, it seems to be behaving inconsistently. I will keep trying, maybe it will work eventually.

Do you only want to insert the contents of the Excel sheet? In that case you can Copy (CTRL+C) from Excel and use Paste Special to insert the contents as a table.

You might even want to use data extraction to link the table and the Excel sheet to keep updated data.

I ended up copying and pasting the spreadsheet into paperspace, dividing the spreadsheet into 4 sheets of 50 rows each.  This appears correct, as long as no updates are made to the spreadsheet, then I will have to re-paste the spreadsheet, but I honestly think it will not change now.
