Hello,

Havent found a answer to this on the forum. Is there a way I can create a symbol (or similar) from a complete floor plan? So i can use the same floor plan to draw electricals, etc.

I have an architectural plan of a building that is repeated several times. I would like to know if there is any way to just have an original architectural plant and make an instance or some kind of symbol to work the electrical plants and others on a single drawing. With the intention that if something changes in the original model, change in all the plants that are the same.

Thanks

Hi,

for this AutoCAD make XREF attache command.this is for your need indeed.put your origin files in a file then insert it as xref in another new cad file.now every file you use in this xref file will be modified and changed if you make it for the origin one.
