Surface Trim creates extra hole

My dear community,

I can't figure out how the surface trim command works. I try to trim the inner part of the extrusion (see picture)

if i do so, there will be a extra hole on the lower part of the surface

it seems like autocad is extending the cone and punching a extra hole in. is there a way to avoid that?

thanks fpr the help.

josef

@josef.schadlbauer ,

Create a 3D Solid Cone (White) and Subtract from the "blue surface".
