Hi, has anyone got auto cad running on a surface pro 4 with the intel core m3, 4gb of ram. If so what version? I'm not looking at doing anything more than floorplans in 2d whilst on site and hopefully getting the disto to add the measurements via Bluetooth. Whilst I would have installed my old 2013 version but it appears it is not supported for Windows 10.

It looks like lots of people have it running in the i5 and i7 versions

Win10 info is on your screen, right column, link is called WINDOWS !) SUPPOR and reads like this http://autode.sk/1IY4C2X

SurfacePros are great devices: 4Gig ram is a minimum selection and their stock 128Gig harddrives are too tiny though, 512Gig if you plan on making the SurfacePro last a while is the better choice.

Thanks for your comments and the info. I'm not too concerned about the storage it's just if the core m will work with auto cad or not.

Yes, I too have this question. I'm thinking of getting an ASUS Transformer3 tablet which is much like the Surface pro 4 m3 sans kickstand but with the new Core m3 7th generation processor. Same as Jamie, I just need a portable and light PC to just review or bring up and work on 2D plans on site and do some markups on the go; while I do my heavy work on my desktop at the office.

I don't have any direct experience with the m3, but it shouldn't have any problem other than generally weak performance.  I've got a Surface 3 (atom processor, 128 GB storage, 4 GB RAM) running AutoCAD 2016.  No doubt, some generally weak performance, but still usable.

Not much actual drafting going on, but the screencasts in this thread shows examples.

Works. Fine. I bit the bulle and just purchased one. I do basic floor plans/ elevations. I have it paired to my disto. I am impressed with the surface. Although I would have been more pleased if autodesk had updated their IOS app to allow me to pair with my disto.

Kind regards
