Hi,

I'm trying to subtract 6 small cylinders from a more giant cylinder so the small ones can make hole shapes, and I've watched the video that my professor has sent us and it hasn't worked, the drawing attached below is what my picture looks like and the bottom one is what it's supposed to look like.

Hello, First check if you have used union by chance or not yet!

second if you use polar array to make cylinders you should remember to not have them in a assosiative mode.

You can subtract solid from solid so check in properties and see if cylinders recognized as Array or Solid!

As already noted above, the usual Subtruct command does not know how to work with arrays and blocks. You must first call the Explode command.
But there is the AVC Drill plugin, which has two commands DRI and GAP - both can search for subtractable solids inside arrays and blocks.
