Student version software

Hello Guys,

                     I would like information on how to get a student version of Autocad for an adult who wants to learn the software. This is someone who has graduated from university many years ago and does not have student info any more. I am willing to teach her Cad but she does not have the software and cannot access a student version from autodesk. 

Is there anything I should know so that I can advise?

He's already not entitle to use the student version for 3 years, but he can use 30 days trial version and refer this tutorial and see if helps. Thanks
