Stray object in 3D drawing I cannot delete or move

I have 3D drawing that has a stray object that is preventing me from centering my model. I set my model to plan and selected all objects (control A) and I attach a snip of my screen. My model is on the right. What is the other object please.

try to    Erase >> ALL >> Shift + select your needed objects .  Now i suppose that every object will delete except the objects that you select with shift key . 

Note : i'm afraid that the other object that you want to delete is an extend from your original model , isn't it ?

 Thanks for the reply.  I tried to delete the object and it kept re-appearing but I have worked on the problem.

 I was editing my model through a paper-space window (viewport maximise) and when I used orbit, the model flew off in all directions. However, when I work in model-space, I do not have the problem and my orbit centre is in the model.  However, when I zoom extents and I 'control A' I still get the stray object.  Does the shape of the UCS icon mean something? I tried playing with live section but abandoned the task.  Could there be a stray live-section?
