stitch mesh microstation autocad equivalent

Does autocad have stitch mesh like microstation has?

Or something similar. please see attached video.

Hi @Anonymous,

I don't work a lot with meshes but to my knowledge there is no equivalent to Stitch in AutoCAD.  If you use THICKEN on the meshes you can convert to surfaces and then potentially use a command such as loft.

Hi @Anonymous,

I don't work a lot with meshes but to my knowledge there is no equivalent to Stitch in AutoCAD.  If you use THICKEN on the meshes you can convert to surfaces and then potentially use a command such as loft.

Hi John,

Thanks for your input.
Yes i tried that.
i also tried extract edges. but it makes the edges individual plines.
Is there a sysvariable or command to join a multiple lines in a chain
fashion?

to join multiple lines or polylines, use JOIN command or PEDIT>JOIN. (Join doesn't work on surfaces but I guess you are trying to create a new surface from the boundary)
