Startup variable not correct

Note for Autodesk - Please move this post to the English Autocad forum as all I have available (from the select location dropdown) are the German & Spanish boards (You should get that fixed). Even the show all option does not work if it's suppose to show the English as well. Now to the issue at hand. Win7 64, AC Lt 2017 So I used to havethe Startup variable set to 3 and on startup, I would get the proper startup screen (with the tutorials, etc). However that doesn't work anymore. Now i get the following from each setting: 0 = Default template 1 = Startup dialog box 2 = Blank screen 3 = Default template Any thoughts. Just to make matters worse, when I try to use help, I get the help window with a screenshot of my cad display(but only what exactly behind the window) See attached (I moved the window to show what is captures) Thanks

If you cannot see all of the available forums make sure you are not blocking scripts from Lithium.com, Autodesk.com or Addthis.com ( s7.addthis.com) they are need for all features to work.

also please make sure you are using the latest releases of the supported browsers below (with JavaScript enabled):

Chrome
Firefox
Internet Explorer 8*, 9, 10 or 11
Safari
Microsoft Edge

For a consistent and reliable mobile device browsing experience, we recommend using one of the latest popular mobile operating systems and devices with their default browsers (with JavaScript enabled):

iOS with Safari
Android with Android browser
Opera Mini
Blackberry Browser

*Note: Internet Explorer 8 is no longer supported on the Community after 7/23/2015, IE 8 users may have a degraded experience. Users with IE 8 on Windows XP may not be able to connect at all to the community

Hi @FeeopEngr, I was wondering if you followed @TheCADnoob suggestion, if so what happened.
