Hi,

I'm just learning how to use AutoCad correctly and have tried to amend some settings. However, now when I start up Autocad it opens a new page- I cannot view the start page with previous drawings on and I cannot minimize or close the page without closing the system all together. Does anyone know what I have done?

Thank you

@terry ,

Welcome to the forum.

Set the STARTMODE to 1 (Read more >>Here<<).

Note: When changing the value of STARTMODE from 0 to 1, you must restart AutoCAD for the Start tab to be displayed. If you are running AutoCAD in a single document mode (SDI =1), the Start tab will be displayed after you change the value of SDI to 0 and restart AutoCAD.

Thanks for your quick response, that's great! Would you mind just posting that link again? It doesn't seem to be opening.

Hi,

I suggest to change  STARTMODE from 0 to 1 then close AutoCAD and restart it again .
