Stacking option has disappeared

I don't know why, but when I right click on a fraction, the "stack" option won't appear. I can't find any keyboard shortcuts. I'm so furious with this I can barely type.

Hi @morganism3,

I am sorry to see you this frustrated. Can you tell me which version of AutoCAD and which font you are using? I will see if I can duplicate the problem and off you a solution. Is this happening in one drawing or all of your drawings?

It might be worth attaching a sample file for me to investigate.

2014. It's Map 3D, but that seldom makes a difference. I've tried multiple fonts, I've even tried both text AND mtext, and I've tried this on more than one file. It's like the option has been completely removed from my computer. There's no "lightning bolt", nothing relevant when I right click, and nothing relevant on the properties menu. It's like the computer just plain does not know how to do stacking. That's why it's so infuriating.

Did this just start happening? I am able to do it easily in AutoCAD 2014 (see attached Screencast).

What happens if you log onto your workstation as a new user with administrator permissions? Does Map still misbehave?

You could also try a Reset settings to Default or even a repair from Windows Control Panel>Programs

Yup, it's normally exactly as you've shown it. I finally just opened the file in a different year of AutoCAD to make the fraction, but I'll leave this open in case anyone has insight on why this feature would stop working

Hi morganism3,

did you attempt to logon as a new user or reset your program settings to default?

>>>... I've even tried both text AND mtext...<<<
Stacking is only a feature in MTEXT: are you selecting only the fraction before you right-click?
what font is being used, or is there a font override in play inside the MTEXT perhaps?
This happens even if you start a new file in 2014 and MTEXT?

Can you copy/paste the good mtext from the other year version into this one and will it still hold the fraction?

Hi @morganism3,

Can you share a file with us so we can take a closer look at the issue?
