Squiggly Lines When Printing

Hi,

I have AutoCAD 2015 student version. When printing (it doesn't matter if it is a pdf, or a printer) the lines appear squiggly and some of them change place. The lines also appear this way in print preview. Could someone please help?

Can you post your DWG file and your PDF print from it?

This is for a university project. I wanted to use pdfs for rendering. If you zoom in to the room names and to the phones on the first glass panel, you will see the problem.

Thanks very much.

Try cranking up your resolution in the custom settings and the quality to Maximum.  When I did that, this is what I got.

As for plotting, you need to check all your plot settings and lineweights. Also in the plot style table check wich line ends work best for you.

See attached PDF using my own plot style without making any adjustments and it already comes out much better than your PDF sample.

Sometimes you need to tinker a little to get the desired results
