Split view only in model space?

I've recently discovered you can split your screen view in model space. Which had me wondering.. is there any way to see a split view of model space and then a layout space or paper space? Asking more out of curiosity than a specific problem to be solved.

Note:

You cannot see a Layout/Paper Space thru Model Space, but you can see a Model Space thru Paper Space [in viewports].
