spell check settings

my spell check keeps getting turned off somehow.  is there a setting that i can run in my startup to make sure it is always on?  turn it on from the command line?

What do you mean by 'turned off"?

the "check spelling" somehow becomes unchecked.

Is it a per-file problem, or system wide?
Does it turn off as you draft, or only with a restart of AutoCAD?
Is your Dictionary file damaged or missing?

at this point i dont know when its happening.  I have noticed it every couple of weeks.  once i recheck the box, it works fine.

Hi @m.voss.alvine,

I haven't found a way to replicate this behavior on my side. I suspect however that you might have a corrupt dictionary file or perhaps you have a custom mapping to more than one.

Is it possible to check the path and maybe even replace the one with a file from another computer where this isn't happening?
