Please excuse if my question is out of order, but I have been trying to find tutorials/documentation/help of any sort for SpatialNet. The only thing I've been able to glean is that it seems to be a subfunction/sub-app of AutoCad. Is this correct? Can anyone help me? Thanks ahead of time.
Solved! Go to Solution.
There is a tutorial and documentation in Spatialnet Menu on Top of the Menu bar, can't remember which one but there is one you can use..
have you tried F1 ?
I tried the "Help" menu, but I got Help for Autocad. At any rate, I'm on the job, now and am receiving training, so it's no longer an issue. Thanks.

Hey guys, ive been working with CAD/Spatial for almost two years now in the communications industry. I primarly do Fiber Optic design & drafting for a contractor for COMCAST. Recently we upgraded to spatial 7.1 & autocad 2014 since the upgrade we have been having major issues with layers loading. anytime we try to pull a splice case or load an area of the map we get "layer failure" prompts & CAD shuts down. we can seem to get past this issue & our production is suffering severely!!! can anyone help us? i have screenshots of the erros..
Hi Maroudas,
I am probably heading for the similar NBN design job. Can you send some docs regarding how you are using spatialNet and Autocad? some screenshot or scenario or a how to guideline may help. I am used to telstra, but they use Mafinfo instead.
Thanks for your reply.

Hi Everyone,
Can anyone please help me with using AutoCAD drawings in spatial? I need to know how to export AutoCAD scraps as spatial data and then edit and assign attributes to those AutoCAD features in a spatial environment.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
