Sort result from find and replace

Hello everybody (Merry christmas and happy new year)

 

Sorry for my english but it's not my usual language

 

I just install AutoCad 2018 and I have a problem

When I use the Find and Replace function It run and I have many result

But When I click on the Head of the colum [Text] of the find and replace windows It do not sort the results

(Like my old version of AutoCad do)

 

Do you know why and how I can change that ?

Hi @Anonymous, have you try clicking the Text title again? and remember that the only way to compare whit another version of AutoCAD is using the same file, I mean whit the same text

Hi,

 

if you try this in a new CAD dwg file does the same happened ? if yes ... i suggest to install the latest updates from your AutoDesk Desktop app account .

Thank you all for your answers
The problem happens in new files as in old ones
I tried many times and it's always the same
I downloaded Autocad at the end of December from this address:
https://www.autodesk.com/products/autocad/free-trial
Then I receive from my company the license key
Where should I go for updates?

I had the same problem with AutoCad 2107 but not with older versions

Hi,

Start Autodesk Desktop App, make sure you are logged in (with your company account), then wait a few minutes so the list of updates gets refreshed.

After this you can see the updates available and you can start the update process within that app.

 

But even with AutoCAD 2018 latest update the list of find results can't be sorted, bug stays present.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

This is a known issue that the development team is investigating.  I have been able to get the sort to work in my drawings by clicking on the different headers repeatedly. Sometimes it works and other times it does not.  This issue seems to be most prevalent on Windows 10 systems. Is that the OS you are running?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Just as a follow up, this issue was resolved with  AutoCAD 2018.1.2 update which was released  in May 2018.

 

This sorting with the FIND feature in Windows 8 and 10 did not affect Windows 7 users.
