some dimensions are associated and some are not

When creating dimensions in AutoCAD - I have 2022 - some are associated and some are not. The DIMASSOC is set to 2.

All of my objects are 3D and when I create dimensions and the pick box is green the dimension is associated. Sometimes on a 3D object there are several levels of lines and then the pick box goes blue. When this happens the dimensions are no longer associated. I can force it to be associated by manually typing 'END' or 'MID' or 'CEN' but that is time consuming. Is there a way to make it so that the dimensions will ALL be associative and I can just easily click away?

Sorry, but it does not work. When I use that command I still have to pick the points again and the pick "X" shape is still blue and while the dimension might be updated. It is still NOT associative. When using the DIMREASSOCIATE, if I again force it to an endpoint by typing 'END' then it works. But why would I do it twice when I could just do it the same way the first time?

True.... There is no automated method for changing a dimension from partial associativity to associative. They must be manually reassociated. You can use Qselect to get the job done quicker...

I probably wasn't clear in my original post, but I want to know if there is a way that, when snapping to object points, the square stays green when dimensioning - which yields associative dimensions - rather than a blue square, which gives non-associated dimensions. I understand that when blue CAD does not know which point I am trying to snap to. When I type 'END' or whichever, it forces CAD to pick one and so goes green and associative. It may be the top or bottom corner of a cube but in these cases I don't really care, since they will yield the same dimensional result.
