Solid, Subtract not working.

I did what this book said.

And nothing happened.

What am I doing wrong?

LIST the wall, what does it say? It doesn't look like a 3d solid to me.

select a wall and check the properties  (Ctrl1).  are the walls solids? or surfaces.  it looks like the walls are open on the top as if the wall are surfaces.

you may have redo the walls as solids?

The walls are lines that were Presspulled.

How can I draw a solid wall?
