solid slice error: slicing plane does not intersect 4 selected solids.

i extruded this object by mistake and i need to slice it again to bring it back to its original height as shown. undoing is not an option anymore. what should i do? thank you!

First, posting the .dwg so it can be worked with

Second, EXPLODE the solid, erase what is wrong and extrude again may work

Hello,  recently I had a similar problem.

I have a 3D Solid, made out of extruded, intersected, etc profiles (the regular stuf), and one 3D Object made out of a thickened double curved surface. For any reason, autocad can't seem to perform "Union" between those 2 objects, or edit the thickened object in any way.

I needed to slice out part of that thickened object, and the error "slicing pplane does not intersect the selected solid", when it clearly does.

hard to tell just exactly from your mp4 wjat you want  if it that lump on the side you want to remove, rotate the x-y plane of the ucs to align the slicing plane.  rotate around x axis 90 degress?

Post the .dwg,  It will make it easier to work on the problem
