solid from sweep not displaying correctly

Some of my solids created from sweeps are not displaying correctly, see attached file.  All those shown, were created consecutively in the same way so dont see how it could be settings.  Is this just a bug?  I want all to be shown as those on the right, not the bare bones as on the left.

Thanks

I am not familiar with diagnosing CAD geometry from bitmap images.

Can you attach actual *.dwg file here that exhibits the issue you are seeing?

I have cut the objects from my main file and pasted them into a new file.  Thanks for the help.

It appears to me that the profile(s) may not have been precisely perpendicular to the sweep path, therefore the sweeps are somewhat elliptical rather than perfectly round.

The sweep was created from a circle object as a profile.  Does the sweep function not automatically align the profile surface perpendicular to the selected path direction?  I think an extrude along path would have to be used to accidentally create a solid with elliptical cross section?  I will check that though.

Not a perfect solution but for anyone who also has this problem, splitting the path polyline into 2 sections, sweeping along both then performing a union action seems to work.

First thing I notice is that your geometry is a very long distance from 0,0,0.

I (almost) never rely on AutoCAD to align my sweep profile to the path - I always use the UCS ZA O option to set my sketch plane perpendicular to the start of the path before creating the profile. (especially when far from 0,0,0)

I also notice that you change sharp angles in direction along the path rather than bending around radius.

This will result in change of profile.  (harder to see with small cylinder, but easy to demonstrate with a profile like Angle Iron)
