SNAP VS X,Y COORDINATES

I know there is a way to turn off the x,y feture and move an object to a snap corrdinate. right now I try to move an obect, line, whatever, and when I touch and highlight the move to object and hit the TAB key instead of toggling through my snap options it toggles between x and y coordinates.. and when I start a new line and highlight the object the line will start from again it only takes the closest snap endpoint or center point and when I hit the TAB key it toggles between x,y coordinates. want it to toggle between snap points. please help

Make certain OSNAP is turned on (F3 or the status bar toggle) and make certain you have the Object Snaps you need checked

I assume you are talking about Dynamic Input? You can toggle it by clicking the bottom toolbar or by hitting F12.
