Hello i need to create an outline from a specific font. I achieved this by using TXTEXP command, but the curves are a bit blocky.

Is there a way to smoothen these curves without retracing them in proper arcs??

You can try using the Outside Loop plugin, which can optimize polylines. Including the OSL command can replace straight lines with arcs, if the contour does not go beyond the specified deviations.

You can Break them at all the sharp corners [i.e. each end of the straight-line end-of-stroke segment], and use PEDIT's Fit option on the parts you want curvier.  Unfortunately, you can't them Join them back together -- in quickie trials, I find some ways of trying to rejoin them removed the fit-curving I just did, some resulted in a Polyline also with straight segments though a lot more of them for at least a closer-to-"curvier" appearance, and some didn't do anything.
