SinPac1 and TOOLSPACE

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am a customer with Autodesk and have been for over two years. I have been using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D (Serial Number: xxx-xxxxxxxx), but recently I am using Autodesk AutoCAD 2018 and I cannot seem to find out how to have TOOLSPACE on the left hand side of my screen. Do you know how to open and pin this toolbar to my screen to be able to see the whole time I am working? Please see down below for a photo reference. This photo is from my civil 3D license, I cannot figure out how to get it pinned on my screen in AutoCAD 2018. The photo is upside down but ont he left hand side of the screen you can see the TOOLSPACE toolbar. I cannot find out how to open or pin this on AutoCAD 2018.

Also, how do I install Sinpac 1 and Sinpac 2?

Thanks,

Welcome to the Forums

That is a TOOLPALETTE and you can make it appear by typing TOOLPALETTES at the command line.

To dock it right click in a blank area of it and choose ALLOW DOCKING. see the image below

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I saw your screen image and thought I would share the Windows Snipping Tool with you.  It is included with your Windows OS and it allows you to capture a window on your display and even do some rudimentary markups on it.  It works much better to share than taking a picture of the screen.

You already have great info on how to dock Tool Palettes.  Is your TOOLSPACE palette a customized or created one?  Is it a Civil 3D palette?  If this is in your Civil 3D you might be able to save it out by saving your cuix file.  I do not see this one as part of plain AutoCAD.

Also, the Sinpac 1 and 2 you mention... what are they?  Are they Lisp routines or addons of some sort?  Can't tell you how to load something that we don't know about.
