Short Key Commands

I am new to this community and the program, however, I just graduated and started my new job working exclusively with AutoCAD and find myself doing draft checks more often than not.  My question is, when I have multiple drawings open, sometimes between 15-20, is there a short key command for closing just one of those drawings without closing the entire program, as is the case with control+q?

Alt Tab may get what you are after but it will also go through every window that is currently open.

As BeekeeCZ already mentioned, CTRL+F4 is the default shortcut.

However, you can make your own custom shortcut to close the current drawing in the CUI (custom user interface). You can make a toolbar button shortcut, ribbon shortcut, Quick Access toolbar, or keyboard shortcut.

If you need to find the particular drawing first before closing it, look into the SYSWINDOWS command for cascading or tiling your open windows to easily find the one you want to close.
