Setup two extra mouse buttons

Hi. I purchased new mouse (TeckNet M002) with 5 buttons.

My goal is to program two extra buttoms (pageUp and pageDown) so when I click pageUp AutoCad toggle osnap and when pageDown is pressed it toggle ortho.

Is there any way I can setup it in AutoCad?

In Customize User Interface i can only assigned F1-F12 and combinations of two keys for all commands in AutoCad. When i press pageUp or pageDown (or any other keyboard button) in assigned box it just stays empty.

You should install their drivers:

http://www.tecknet.co.uk/support/m021.html

Then you should be able to programm the buttons with their software.

Don't forget to restart autocad after changing the button layouts.

I just plug in mouse and Windows 10 automatically download driver. Mouse is working fine. I install Mouse Manager from RealityRipple Software and programmm the buttons. One button for pageUp and other for pageDown. They work like i press pageUp and other for pageDown on keyboard.

The problem is that in Customize User Interface I cant setup shortcuts command with only one keyboard letter. In this case pageUp for toggle osnap and pageDown for toggle ortho. Only F1-F12 can be assigned

The way I do it is through the Original mouse driver software.

I can assign F8 to any button I want.

With the 3Dconnexion Cadmouse I can even choose the button behaviour for each programm.

I thought Logitech could do this as well but I can't find it.

Interesting solution but I try to use these two buttons just for pageUp and Down. In this way i dont need setup button behaviour for each program.

In AutoCad I use pageUp and Down for two commands, and when Im in other program (word, excel, chrome, pdf reader.......or any other program) I can also use extra mouse buttons for scroll up or down in documents. In this way its very useful and user friendly.

I am afraid it doesn't work that way.

This is not BricsCAD: are you under the impression both software packages from rival software makers are somehow connected?
Or are you just advertising for BricsCAD over here 🙂

In AutoCAD, your mouse driver is used to do what you want, if the driver is able to do that.
