Setting the table cell height

G'day,

I am trying to set up a table that uses 2.5 mm high text and I want a margin of 1 mm vertically. This should give me a cell height of 4.5 mm, however I end up with a minimum cell height of 5.xxx-xxxxxxxx mm?

If I set the alignment to Top Centre, the text will be 1 mm below the top of the cell, however the cell height cannot set smaller than 5.333333333333 mm.

Why can't I set the cell height to what I want, and how does AutoCAD end up with this number?

Oh, I'm using AutoCAD 2016.

Thanks.

HI,

i didn't notice your issue , after TABLE command you can increase and decrease both Column width and Row height as much as you can . fell free to attache here your CAD dwg sample ( with your table ) for testing . >> Click <<

You must apply those settings to the entire row, i.e. all cells in the 'row' must have text height 2.5mm and all cells in the 'row' must have vertical margin of 1mm. Even if you don't plan on using the cell, the cell will remain empty, it must have those settings. If only a portion of the cells within the row has those parameters, then the one cell that doesn't will prevent the entire row from conforming.
