I'm a subscription member. I thought I had all I need on the jewel case and must have lost the serial number for my AutoCAD 2015. It has sat unsued for over a year until I could afford a new work station. How can I get the serial number?

If you are on subscription, youe downlaod and your serial number are there on that site. Log-in and get them. You don't need anything else, you paid for that perk.

If you can't find the download link and the serial information then you need to get help from your subscription log-in page.

You paid for subscription, use it 🙂

Q1. Who did you purchase your subscription from?

(This person is generally called your Value Added Reseller or VAR for short.)

Your VAR can tell you your serial number.

or

you can find it yourself by simply logging into your subscription account.

If you are having trouble figuring out how to log into your account - perhaps you should post your question over here

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/bd-p/24

If you are having trouble figuring out who your VAR is, search Google for Locate Autodesk Reseller.

No number is printed on the disk when you are on subscription.

Get it on your subscription page: you said you had a subscription, which means you have subscription log in details:
http://subscription.autodesk.com/sp/servlet/public/index?siteID=11564774&id=11607975

Of course if your subscription has lapsed in the year you did not use or load or install then you probably have biger problems. Go get help here and be truthful about your subscription timeline http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/bd-p/24

thank you very much for your help.
I was having difficulty with the log in at the subscription center.
I now have the SN.

Next question: I'm the only person who uses this software. Is it possible to place it on 2 non-networked machines? I was thinking about my desktop and my laptop. Actually I could probably get them networked very easily for a floating license. However, is there some kind of USB-type hardware key that I can insert into the computer I'm using to allow it to work only on that one machine?

Thanks again.

As long as you alone control the use of both laptop and desktop, you can install and authorize a copy on the other to use when you are out of the office.
