Sensitive Information Protection

Greetings

I'm working with some sensitive information on site maps for my job.

I want to know if there is a way to block and/or lock some of the layers used in my AutoCAD drawings, so as not to be seen, without having to duplicate the drawing and storing that drawing offline.

The problem is only select persons need access to this drawing, the system we use to store the drawings is public and useable for contractors and other mining staff and this info should not be accessible by everyone.

Is there a way to protect this information? In this manner?

Hi,

The DWF format allows creators to control which design data is shared, making it useful for protecting confidential information

I suggest to read about creating DWF files from AutoCAD. >> Click <<

One way to prevent sensitive info from being seen by everyone is to save those into a separate drawing and then externally referenced in. Then only provide the xref dwg to those who are supposed to see it.
