selection problem

I am proving the new Autocad 2017 and when using a command, e.g. erase, and starting to select the first object to erase I never get to do it. I mean the first click does not select any objet. I have to click twice which is quite awkward. It is the same with align, move, ... I do not know if there is any clicking variable or similar to modify this.

Thanks

Hi @efransen,

I'm sorry this problem persists for you. Have you tried a different mouse to see if that makes any difference?

Hey Erhansen. I asume that you still have this issue? This is super annoying. I haven't tried the clicklock advice yet, but i can see how it can create frustration in oter programs

Hi @efransen,

Perhaps you can prepare a NFO file for me and send it to [email protected]. In the mean time here is an article with some suggestions worth trying.

To be clear, this doesn't seem to be a snap problem or a lag/stutter but the lack of actually completing a selection?

I have currently switched to 2017 to be productive for a few deadlines. I will look the NFO file later. TP be sure the behavior is that first click started the window for selection and second click /pick completed the window. Intermittently the behavior is first click does not set the first window corner but the second click does. If the behavior persists, holding the first click/pick and drag makes the selection window and the second pick completes it. Currently in 2017 I am not experiencing this behavior.
