Select line - show colours

I used to have a setting that made selection of an element colourful.

 

At the moment it shows as dashed (see below), this is from setting in Graphics Performance set to be as basic as possible.

 

What could that setting have been to make colourful, as I find it improves drafting experience.

It was more than one colour from memory, sort of like a rainbow, or red/blue/green

Try with SELECTIONEFFECT (System Variable) = 1

it should not be just on but 2d Display settings should not be Basic but Intermediate or Advanced
