The segments in the attached file don't want to join properly
I am designing parts that will be cut using CNC machine. However when placing the parts on the fictitious metal plate in the computer the lines detach themselves making it difficult to manage
Things are not at the same elevation. Viewed from the side [partial]:
To merge, your curves must be on the same plane and their normal must be directed in the same direction. You can project all curves onto a plane using standard tools or use the AVC Flat plugin.
But the best option would be to use special plugins designed to optimize contours for CNC: AVC OSL.
And if you initially created solids in the drawing, then you can learn contours for milling from them using contouring plugins, for example AVC NC Preparation.

Look at your own DXF file from different angles to see the issue ( I added color for clarity)
And this may affect your CNC performance
