Second Move of Leader Jumping

Second Move of Leader Jumping

No aplicable

When I move the contents of a leader once it moves to the correct location. But, if I stay clicked on that leader and try to move the contents of that leader a second time it seems to jump double to distance of what I want it to. Any thoughts on how to correct this jump? I have tried to adjust the snap settings but no luck.

Hopefully this all makes sense.

Thanks!

If you turn all osnaps off do you get the same results?  I bet it's a snap issue.

I tried that, no luck though. I don't seem to have the issue with just multileaders, it seems to be an issue with smart leaders (ones that adjust their properties to the location you moved).

Hi,

please let us know which type and version of AutoCAD you are using, best would be to start command _ABOUT and show us a screenshot from that dialog.

Also upload a new dwg-file with

  • a leader object created without movement
  • a copy of the above and one movement (to the right, one unit)
  • a copy of the first object and two movements (to the right, two times with each one unit)

What are you referring to by "smart leaders"?
