I had Graphics Acceleration ON since i have been using Auto Cad, but never have i seen such an issue.

Do you know why it is occurring all of a sudden?

Hi,

Try restarting your system and see if the problem goes away.

Hi,

Can you post the screenshot of the 3DCONFIG and ABOUT. which tell us about the graphic card in use and the AutoCAD version you are using. Did you update the graphic card drivers recently? Cause I did see this the same thing happening with the other user after updating the graphics card driver.

I get glitches like this routinely in AutoCAD 2020 (and in AutoCAD 2021).  I never encountered them before that point.  Reducing my graphics quality makes other problems worse on my system, so that's not a workable solution for me.

I notice it the most in larger drawings with lots of hatches and wipeouts.

Hi,

Check if your graphic card is certified to be used with Autodesk from this link.

Also, try to uncheck the options one by one from the "GRAPHICS PERFORMANCE"(3DCONFIG) dialog box and apply the changes and see if it fixes the issue.

If all this doesn't work, then you need to roll back the graphic card drivers.

Uncheck the boxes on that pop-up, and if that does not help, turn off hardware acceleration then go look for an older driver that works well, or check at Autodesk's webpage for drivers. let us know.

Got the solution.

Since i have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 driver, i went to the NVIDIA Contol Panel and checked the PhysX Settings.

It was set to auto-select, meaning it will configure between normal CPU drivers and GTX 1060.

Also having selected Hardware Acceleration meant it needed good driver so i set my default Processing driver to GTX 1060 and now its working fine even with Hardware Acceleration ON.

Also having uninstalled the recent updated version to a version that worked fine earlier would have helped.

Thanks a lot for help guys!

In the physx section, did you change it to cpu or gtx from auto?
