All the manufacturers for specialty products are using SolidWorks software. We are not receiving Revit .rfa files for their model elements and assemblies.
Have 50 SolidWorks SLDPRT files that come in at the wrong scale once they have been converted to AutoCad .dwg
files, and imported in Revit as a CAD file to create a Revit .rfa.
SolidWorks .STP files and STEP files work perfectly.
But with SLDPRT files, it does not matter what you set the scale in AutoCad at, they still come into Revt as an .rfa at no particular size. Usually miniature versions.
Have tried most of the "solutions," on this forum and still does not work correctly.
Does anybody know of a batch file processor for Revit, or AutoCad OR have a workaround for this scale issue with SolidWorks SLDPRT files?
Have tried AutoCad 2020, and AutoCad 2024 same results.
Using Revit 2020, Windows 10, and lots of coffee.
Thank you,
