Scale issue in just a few texts of an xref.

Hello All, I have a problem when I attach a dwg into another dwg file but it looks like the only problem are just few texts from the xref dws. 

This the xref file: 

And this is how it looks when I attach that file to another : 

So, Why only that layers is bigger in the main dwg file? I was checking and it can be the scale but in both file the scale are the same.

Review the  text style settings in each drawing.

Community, does XRef text use the style setting from the drawing to which it is attached?

If so, that may explain why the text changes when it is XRefed.

Could you attach sample drawings?

Are all of these annotative text/blocks by chance?

If yes, set CANNOSCALE to something else (or 1:1 if that's not current) then back to whatever it is you have now and see if the problem goes away.

The problem is in the anotation objects. Can it be this problem?

I don't think the system variable that controls mirrored text (MIRRTEXT) would cause that text appearance.

Is the Style of those STANDARD?  And is the difference permanent, or does it appear only when editing?  I think the STANDARD Style may work like Layer 0 -- there is no nested Layer 0 from within an Xref, but the properties of Layer 0 of the host drawing cover all Layers 0 in all nested drawings.  I haven't tested fully, but I find if I REFEDIT an Xref from within a host drawing, and the Xref's drawing has a definition of STANDARD Style that differs from that of the host, while I'm editing Text in that Style, it looks like the host's version, though when I close REFEDITing, it goes back to the way STANDARD is defined in the Xref.  So I'm not sure, but at least it could have something to do with your issue.  See >this related topic<.

One shot in the dark: Is ANNOALLVISIBLE turned ON? And what happens with this text if you turn it off?

No, named objects are unique, except Layer(0)

(only while in RefEdit mode, dependent on refedit settings and the exception for one style / follow Kents link >this related topic<.)
