Saved Views: Viewport Linking & Sheet Set Placement [Errors]

As shown in the attached video, I am encountering the following errors regarding saved views;

1. When trying to set an existing viewport to the properties of a saved view, the scale does not get set.
2. When placing a saved view via the SSM, the layer settings do not show correctly. [Edit - Problem solved by using 'Update Layers' in View Manager.]

Any proposals for cause & solution welcomed!

Has your method ever worked? In any version of other DWG files' layout @Jake_PCH

Problem 1: It has not. I presume it is problematic due to the association between saved views and viewport boundary - however, if there is a method to detach the association between saved views and viewport boundary, then this would allow the Layer snapshot & UCS to be applied to an existing viewport.

Problem 2: I've resolved this.
