Sauverap command error

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi everyone,

I'am using autocad 2013 and when i open a dwg file it says " the file ....... has a command running tap enter to cancel or repeat "

So in the command section underneath it says " SAUVERAP tap enter to cancel or repeat "

In this level i am stuck i can't save or draw or use the file.

If i taped enter or escape several times, autocad crashes and close by itself.

I fomatted my computer and reinstalled autocad and covadis 2013, the app is working well but when i try to open previous files i have the same problem.

I am having this trouble 5 days agos and i am still looking for a solution.

Thank you for your help

Hi,

>> In this level i am stuck i can't save or draw or use the file.

Instead of opening that file in the way you do please start AutoCAD, create a new drawing, start command _RECOVERALL and select your "defect" file.

Do you get any error message while AutoCAD checks your dwg-file?

Can you now run command _SAVEAS?

>> I fomatted my computer and reinstalled autocad and covadis 2013,

If the above suggestion does not work then please try to start AutoCAD without loading the application (an AutoCAD profile that does not know the application Covadis).

Thank you for reaching so quick,

I tried to recover the file as you asked and the recovering process went
correctly. In the end i got the drawing but the the previous issue is
remaining ( sauverap )

I tried to use command SAVEAS but the application stopped working

I got an error that says the file has not been saved due to an unknown
reason.

I want to let you know that this issue is happening just on the files that
i copy from another computer ( my manager's one )
And if i am working with my own files everything is fine.

Thank you for your interest.

Hi,

have you tried my 2 different methods to start AutoCAD?

>> issue is happening just on the files that
>> i copy from another computer

It might help when you upload such a file, maybe we can find something inside that file(s).

Does the other computer also have (plain) AutoCAD or a vertical product like Civil 3D or something like that? The AutoCAD version of the other product is the same release?

Thank you for answering

I didn't try your second methode because o do not know how to start autocad
whithout covadis.

The other computer is using just Autocad and covadis 2013 without another
vertical programm.

I uploaded a picture that describe my situation but its in french language.

Thank you sincerely.

Hi,

Try to start AutoCAD with Windows command-line using parameter /SAFEMODE

Therefor press <Windows-Key><R> ... you'll get a Windows command-line, copy that statement to start AutoCAD:

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013\acad.exe" /SAFEMODE

The only thing I'm not sure now is if AutoCAD 2013 already had that switch or if it was introduced with 2014.

You might also try to login with a different (new) Windows user account and see if you can start AutoCAD in that context well or not.

>> I uploaded a picture that describe my situation

That does not enable us to look into the file and find out what might be inside that file that blocks your system from loading the file.
