RIGHT-CLICK SHORTCUT MENU NOT WORKING

RIGHT-CLICK SHORTCUT MENU NOT WORKING

Hi everybody,

I'm using Autocad 2015 on Windows 8. My problem is that all of a sudden the right-click shortcut menu stopped working.  The menu still appears on screen when pressing shift + right mouse button, but after I click on any of the options an error message appears on screen saying that the command is unknown (i.e  if I click on "Mid between two points", the message "Unknown command "M2P". Press F1 for help" appears on screen). Following the advice on the error message (Press F1 for help) has proven to be useless.

If I try to apply the commands from the shortcut menu by typing them on the command line I get the same error ("Unknown command") message. Any command not featured on the shortcut menu works normally.

I tried to solve this problem by resetting the settings to default, but that has not helped.

I have been using this program on this computer with this operative system since January 2015, and this is the first time that I have had this problem.

PICKFIRST is set to 1.

Any idea/suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

>> "Mid between two points", the message "Unknown command "M2P"

That is not a command that is not working, that is an object-snap. That can only be used when AutoCAD asks for a point.

Create first 2 lines, then start command _LINE ==> AutoCAD asks you to specify first point ==> now you can use this right-click object snap.
