Ribbon Tab Will Not Appear

I am so frustrated that I can't get this additional Electrical ribbon tab to appear. I've posted some pictures of where I'm at. Picture 1 you can see I added it to my workspace in the cui directly under the All You Could Ever Need tab. However, on picture 2 you can see that the All You Could Ever Need tab is appears in the ribbon but the Electrical tab is no where to be found. On picture 3 you can see that the Electrical tab is not being hidden. It's like it doesn't exist. What do I do now?

Good morning schweitzernic,

It looks like you need to drag your Electrical panel into the All You Could Ever Need folder.

I would like them to be two separate tabs though.

Hi schweitzernic,

Let's try this since I cannot duplicate the error on my side.

Try following the steps I went through: (AutoCAD 2016)

CUI

Rt-click Workspace>New Workspace>Test

Select Test Workspace (set it to current)

Then move down the tree and go to Ribbon>Tabs

Rt-Click>New Tab>Test1

Rt-Click>New Tab>Test2

OK your changes. Does the new workspace appear? And, do both Tabs show up?

If so, you can simply rename and then add panels as required.

Please hit the Accept as Solution button if my post fully solves your issue or answers your question.

Tried this and the Test workspace is active but the ribbon says "The Ribbon does not have any tabs or panels currently loaded."

Hi schweitzernic,

This is unusual behavior!  I have attached an AKN Article that describes your symptom and possible fixes. Please take a look and let us know how you would like to proceed.

My gut tells me that you should do the Reset but it will obviously have the most impact on you. Please post your results.
