I have an embeded OLE excel table in my autocad drawing. Everything worked perfectly until I had to add more rows. The file will not show the last information. It shows what as new that I inserted but now that the document is longer and won't show the end. I did the file from scratch in cadd. There is no file from outside. How do I get this to update completely?
WOW, this worked!....I pasted right from the excel OLE into cad and it created a new excel OLE the with all the new content showing. I had to then stretch it to the size I wanted. I'm so Happy!! Thank-you for taking the time to share your knowledge fdisilvestroDB7ES !!!!!
I am just now having a similar problem. I upgrade my laptop, it has Windows 10, I am running AutoCAD 2017. The issue is when I copy data from a MS Excel file and paste it into AutoCAD the font in the MS Excel file is too large and not all the cells are showing. I have never had any luck with re-scaling the font size in the text box that pops up. I suspect the issue might be in my screen resolutions but I haven't got to the solution yet. Any help would be appreciated.
Just to confirm, are you pasting the excel selection as an OLE object? Have you tried PASTESPEC in autocad and paste as Microsoft Excel worksheet? Note in the upper left of the dialog box it shows the range of cells selected, confirm that it is the same you selected in Excel.
My issue was resolved today by luck. We had to roll back MS Office 2016 to 2013 for other reasons and this solved the problem. I am now curious about the pastespec command and will give that a try just to learn about it. Thanks.
