Reverse history of a solid

I can't i reverse the union action in a solid.

I have recorded the history and selected Separate in Solidedit but it keeps asking to select a solid

Hi @Karol-Or,

 

You should be able to remove the UNION using SOLIDEDIT as described in this article.

Since SEPARATE doesn't work too good on your model I would suggest you try holding CTRL while left-clicking the parts of the object you want to alter.  I typically copy a solid and use the CTRL-Click method to delete the part that I no longer want.  Having a copy/copies allow me to work the model edits and keep my original in case of "OOPS".

Select the solid, go to properties and change Solid History Record to NONE. (see image)
In attached the new file.

Although i use 2013 i found the answer in your link. my composite solid is made of overlapping primitives.
