restore layer pallet

hello, 

 

today i sneezed and by  accident i changes the layer menu from normal to the way it is now ( see pic).

i cant change it back, can someone help?

normal its a window that opens when i hit the layer command.

have you tried un-sneezing? (joke)

 

You just need to drag it back down. Click on the left side of it and drag it back down.

Grab the layer palette that is now standing on top, on the most left side - so to the left of the colums "Status" and "Layername".

In that empty bar, you can click and drag the layer manager palette to another location.

If this is not working, right click in the same area: there you should get the right mouse menu with options [close] and [Allow docking].

uncheck the [Allow docking] options, and the pallete should jump back floating.
