Render in Autocad

Hi

I starting learning rendering in AutoCAD. 

I just faced some inconsistencies.

I have 2 files that I think are exactly the same when it comes to render settings.

I gone through all settings/variables that I can. 

The main issue is that it looks differently in Modelspace with Realistic Visual Style and I really wonder why.

Refer attached drawings. 

These are the 2 separate drawings "Pot  Render 1" and "Pot Render 2" .

I also attached an image for explanation.

Refer the image.

The top image is the "Pot Render 1.dwg". Modelspace view. It shows finishes of the objects.

The 2nd image is the "Pot Render 2.dwg". Modelspace view. It shows the Modelspace view differently from the other file although all (as i see it) parameters are the same.

If I change the exposure setting I can make them looks same but then the final rendering result will be different.

The bottom 2 images shows the actual rendered images from each file and they look the same.

So my questions is why does the Modelspace appearance look differently?

Appreciate any suggestions.

That is interesting, I see the same for both, the material is missing, when I open them in AutoCAD 2022:

You mentioned being able to make them appear correctly, how did you do that?

That's strange.

The materials is showing in both files for me.

How the render turned out much the same I don't know but it is.

That's what confusing me.

It's AutoCAD 2016 as company don't want to update :(.

Not much to really bother about.
