Rectangle or Line drawn in 2D appears as a tape /plane in 3D

Autocad 2015 - When I draw a line or Rectangle in 2D (X,Y axis) Front Elevation, selecting 3D SE Isometric View shows the line as a tape or flat plane in the direction of the Z axis. Which feature is controlling this and what do I need to do to turn it off please? Pic attached showing chamfered rectangle.

You have apparently changed the THICKNESS variable for the drawing.  Change it back to "0" at the command line.  Then use the Properties Palette to change the "Thickness" property of any existing objects back to "0"

Thanks Nestly2; worked perfectly.
