Hi community!
I've got an assignment to track borders of some allotments from PDF file in CAD.
Before I do this, I need to possition the corner of the raster map image from the pdf at the correct coordinates shown in the bottom left corner.
When I'm importing the PDF file there's no prompt asking me about insertion point. I would like to provide x/y coords for that manually. But this is not the main issue, I can use "Move" to get it in place. The problem appears when I try to figure out where is the exact corner. For some reason AutoCAD blurrs out the edge of the image in such way that I can't see where the border ends and the map begins.
I've noticed if I start scrolling the blurr disapears but when I stop scrolling it's back in place (but sometimes not fully, as you see above). Can someone tell me how to fix this, to see exactly the pixels I importent without some extra post-processing?
It worked fine and was sharp in AutoCAD 2011, but in 2021 it's not.
I've got one final question (perhaps deserving it's own thread?) is there a way to import the whole PDF page as a single raster image without splitting it to a bunch of separate objects? Just the way it was in AutoCAD 2011?
The new import window is so much more complicated now... 😕
Please if you could, provide as straightforward explanation as you can, I'm just 2-3 months into learning AutoCAD and I feel I'm a total noob.
THANK YOU ❤️
