Random Squares When Plotting

When printing a particular DWG to our Seiko 1020L plotter or Konica Minolota BizHub C452 MFP, there are little squares that are appearing next to a lot of our contour labels...but not all of them.  This occurs regardless of which computer it's plotting from.  I've also ran a RECOVERALL on the DWG to ensure all is good there.

But I noticed that this doesn't happen when plotting to our HP T1100 plotters or to Acrobat.  This is a nice work around, but would like to figure this out if anyone has any clues.

Thanks in advanced!

Hi,

looks like it's connected to the symbols (circle/number), what happens if you move them ... do the squares move too?

I would then freeze the layer with the blocks and verify if the squares are appearing then again or not (also look to the preview, maybe you don't need paper everytime.

If that layer does not help then run the check with every single layer (one thawed, others frozen).

If you could upload the dawing we can look more into it.

Are you still having this issue? Is the drawing a Civil 3D drawing or just a standard AutoCAD drawing? Is this issue just happening on this one drawing? Can you post the drawing or a portion of it here for testing?

Thanks

We found that it would only happen when plotting to our Seiko 1020L plotter, but was fine when plotting to our HP T1100's, PDF or AIO devices. We're fine with this as a work around for now, but thanks for the help! 🙂
