"YES TO ALL" Button

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

This is a simple question. I can't seem to find anywhere online. When working in AUTOCAD, is there a way when you have multiple files open, and click "CLOSE ALL", is there a way to say "Yes to all" when you have edits in Multiple files? or "No to All" if you don't want to save anything.

Why don't you use SAVEALL command first, then CLOSEALL. That takes care of the first need.

For the second: if you already know you don't plan on saving any changes, why not open them in the first place with the OPEN READ-ONLY option in OPEN command.

Now some software are going to SAVE a step instead of two commands like attached

I think we adopt the main stream technology and change our self to present condations

Since "save all" has been covered I'll address the "No" side. If I know I am going to say "No" to all, I just hover a finger over the "N" key. I find it easier than clicking with the mouse.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
