"Specify a replacement for each SHX file" prompts an AutoCad Text Window instead of "Specify Font for XXX" dialog

Title says it all.

Usually when I open a drawing that prompts a "Missing SHX Files" dialog, I can choose the "Specify a replacement for each SHX file" option which would prompt a little box that has a list of fonts for me to choose from. But recently, instead of that little box appearing, another window called "AutoCad Text Window" appears instead and I'm not sure of how to make the font box to appear again. I'm using AutoCad 2018.

Have anyone encountered this issue and found a solution?

So you've never see the command line history as a window before today? That's all that is. Look up TEXTSCR command in HELP for more details if you are interested.

It can show up if you turn off your FILEDIA variable too: look up usage in HELP.

How long have you been using AutoCAD? Just wondering, no offense meant.

Thanks, man! Setting the FILEDIA back to <1> brought back the Specify Font window. I must have FILLET'd and changed the FILEDIA by accident.
